An unamed MP is alleged to have tried to apply pressure on Simon Danczuk to withhold the names of possible paedophile MP’s from his evidence to a house of commons select committee examining claims of a high profile child abuse ring and its cover-up in the 1980s.
So current MP’s may be engaged in an ongoing cover-up and this morning Lord Tebbit admitted that the prevailing “culture” in the establishment of the 1980’s may have led to an active attempt to hide any embarrassing or illegal activity by MP’s because protecting establishment figures and institutions (and the public’s confidence in them) was considered to be an overriding necessity.
And they say that there is no need for a full public inquiry….
