The world’s so-called super powers are impotent and unable to end or even broker a successful humanitarian pause in the cauldron of the Gaza horrors. Netanyahu understands how weak Obama is in the US and may well suspect that the US president is a Muslim sympathiser. That is probably why, the Israeli PM has let it be known that Obama’s envoy, John Kerry, had proposed not a peace plan but a strategic terrorist attack on Israel.
