Meet Ted Cruz: religion, hookers, voter fraud and hated by his own party, what’s not to like? (video)

From climate change through reproductive rights and gender equality and on to LGBTQ rights and same-sex marriage, Ted Cruz denies them all. In that respect, he ought to be the perfect alternative candidate to Donald Trump, at least within the Republican party itself.

But he’s not.

It is now common knowledge that, by a country mile, Ted Cruz is the most loathed politician in Washington and the strength of that hatred is measured by the contempt with which Cruz is held within the ranks of his own party.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, a leading figure in the Republican-controlled senate, recently expressed his colleagues feelings this way
“If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the senate, and the trial was in the senate, nobody could convict you”

As if that wasn’t enough to be getting on with, last week the online vigilante group known as Anonymous released this cryptic message threatening the Cruz presidential bid

This led to a flurry of speculation about Cruz’ possible involvement with voter fraud against Ben Carson and allegations of his involvement in a prostitution ring involving visits to several women for paid services – all of which, for now, remains as speculation.

Since this threat was made no further commentary has been seen from Anonymous and there has been no “chatter” in the forums where they have historically added colour to their broadcast messages. It remains to be seen whether this is simply a hoax or if the group has, as they claimed, real evidence that will be leaked to the mainstream media.
